Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) represents individuals with ADHD, for education, advocacy and support. The organization is composed of dedicated volunteers from around the country who play an integral part in the association's success by providing resources and encouragement to parents, educators and professionals on a grassroots level through CHADD chapters.
ADD Resources is a national non-profit organization that helps people with ADD/ADHD achieve their potential through education, support, and networking opportunities.
National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is committed to reducing the burden of mental illness and behavioral disorders through research on mind, brain, and behavior. The NIMH website provides information on ADHD, as well as the results of a consensus conference on ADHD held by NIMH in November 1998.
