Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) is a national non-profit organization that supports individuals impacted by attention deficit disorders and serves as an advocate for the development of community resources and services that meet the education, social and healthcare needs of all individuals with ADD/ADHD.

ADD Resources is a national non-profit organization that helps people with ADD/ADHD achieve their full potential through education, support and networking opportunities.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is committed to reducing the burden of mental illness and behavioral disorders through research on mind, brain, and behavior. The NIMH Website provides information on ADHD, as well as the results of a consensus conference on ADHD held by NIMH in November 1998.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families. NAMI provides a Fact Sheet and other current information on ADHD-related issues.

The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs co-sponsored the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention conference on ADHD. This site will provide information on educational policy and research related to ADHD.
